Currently providing project development, planning, and scheduling services for Bruce Power Nuclear Reactor 1 & 2 Restart program that includes Turbines Refurbishment (approx 850 MW each) and Electrical projects.

We provide services including project quality assurance, compliance with PMC controls, verifying schedule logic, generating baseline, baseline comparison, and field schedule updates.

In addition, we regularly generates short and long-term management reports based on SPI, CPI, S-Curve, milestone achievement, and activity progress. The assignment also involves integration with contractor’s schedules, planning and hosting work coordination meetings, and providing Primavera technical support to other schedulers and subcontractors.

 

Provided scheduling and planning services for one of the 7 regions in the district with a monthly budget of over 10 million. Helped district manage over 130 small and large school construction and renovation projects utilizing factory floor model for project scheduling.

 

Utilizing a team of 2 planner/schedulers and one developer converted a legacy system data of 1 Billion dollars worth of project per year into a dynamic and robust top of the class scheduling and reporting enterprise system, namely P3e/c. Project involved coordinating with PM staff to incorporate their requirement to develop new reports and metrics. Interacting, coordinating with developers. Writing functional and technical specifications. Writing plans and procedures for projects controls department. Assigning responsibilities to team members, monitoring progress, giving directions etc. Interacting with Finance to incorporate their requirements. 

 

 

Developed and worked on very tight and demanding design and construction schedules of material handling facilities projects. Work involved cost control and monitoring, planning and scheduling drafting, engineering and procurement activities during the scheduled shut down of plants for maintenance. The schedules were fully resource loaded with hours and costs to forecast manpower requirement and cash flows. Projects cost and schedules were monitored by using industry standard performance indices such as S-curves, Performance Based Earned Value, CPI and SPI. 

 

Assisted in $500 million motorway project. Services provided:

  • Produced decision-making reports on Excel and Primavera Project Planner.

  • Updated project in P3.

  • Prepared sketches and plans on AutoCAD R14.

  • Collected data from different departments for producing reports.

  • Compiled meeting minutes.

  • Assisted PM in selecting subcontractors, maintaining company profiles, Interim Payment Certificates.  

 

Provided planning and scheduling activities in close coordination with the Deputy Project Manager and Planning Engineer, on U.S $ 200 Million irrigation project.

  • Produced Cost, Machinery, and Manpower loading reports.

  • Updated the project with actual work done.

  • Prepared Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports.

Assistant in project management and engineering of a cement plant.

  • Assisted the in maintaining all correspondence in-between sites, head office, client, and consultants.

  • Maintained records of all civil staff and their location within the company.

  • Monitored all civil works carried out in the company with their respective project coordinator and informed the ICS

 

Multimillion dollar project involving expansion of carriageway:

  • Supervised three different teams executing Earth works at different sites.

  • Coordinated tasks between site, Laboratory, and survey departments.

  • Designed project flowchart and performed job planning and material requisition.

  • Managed and allocated heavy equipment and plant.
